Blancpain’s native village, Villeret in Switzerland lends its name to their most classic collection. Steeped in tradition, the Villeret personifies Blancpain’s roots and aesthetic choices of a timeless elegance. Although subtly evolving the collection with contemporary faces, Blancplain ensure they preserve the emblematic aesthetic values of traditional watchmaking. The Villeret collection incorporates the results of recent research by Blancpain in the field of movement making.
The lustrous polished stainless-steel casing is sized at 32.2mm in diameter with a thickness of 10.2mm, adorned by the exquisite diamond set bezel. Totalling 48 brilliant cut stones with a combined carat weight of 0.98. Set upon the classic white dial are four Roman Numeral index’s and another 8 beautiful diamonds, totalling 0.046 carats. The surrounding date display is signified by the red tipped hand which points to the current date. Placed above the 6 o’clock position is the endearing Moonphase function. Finally, the Villeret Quantieme Phases De Lune is finished by the graceful blue; Alligator leather strap.
Powered by the Blancpain Calibre 913QLP, a new high-performance movement evolved from the women’s Calibre 953 that has been the stable of Blancpains ladies’ watches. The new 913QLP boasts an approximate power reserve of 40 hours.
